Lowell Family Medical Care takes great pride in providing Immigration Medicals, commonly referred to as Green Card Medicals, to individuals applying for immigration in the Lowell, Methuen, Lawrence, and Andover regions of Massachusetts. The immigration medical examination is a crucial component of numerous long-term visa applications, and our accomplished physicians are officially designated as civil surgeons by USCIS, enabling them to perform these comprehensive physical examinations in our local area.
You will need to plan for a minimum of two visits when undergoing an immigration physical examination.
Visit 1: The initial visit can be scheduled on any day of the week and involves meeting with the Civil Surgeon. During this appointment, your paperwork will be reviewed, and certain required medical tests will be initiated. The Medical Assistant will gather all necessary documentation and record it on your I-693 form. During the examination, the Civil Surgeon will assess your medical history and perform a comprehensive physical examination. For female applicants, a female staff member will be present in the examination room if the Civil Surgeon is male.
Visit 2: After all reports have been received and reviewed, you will be notified that your documents are ready for signing.
Additional visits may be needed based on the availability of the Civil Surgeon and the outcomes of medical tests. Please ensure you arrive on time.
